Picture matching worksheets
Draw a line to connect pictures that are the same. Choose worksheet options below.
How to use this worksheet
- Name or point to one picture in the left column.
- Find the same picture in the right column before drawing a line.
- Join the two nearby dots. Repeat with the remaining pictures.
Choose your practice
Begin with two pairs, then choose three or four pairs. Picture sets and colour mode can be changed without changing the matching task.
Pointing to a pair is a useful first response if drawing connecting lines is difficult.
Changing the practice level creates a fresh version. For another sheet at the same level, use the New practice sheet button. Save the settings link or add the sheet to a pack to keep that version. Tracing keeps the same correct forms and varies their arrangement or path lengths.
Age guidance is approximate. Print on A4 or US Letter paper. Choose outlines to save ink or pre-coloured pictures to start the activity without colouring. The instructor key follows the same worksheet options and paper size.
